On the 11 July 2009,it was a Saturday. But not just a Saturday, it is one of the best Saturdays' in my life . On that day me and the whole p5 level of my school(White Sands Primary) went to the floating platform at Marina Bay to watch the NE show.....
IT was 2.20p.m. in the afternoon and i was about to leave my house to meet with Hafiyyan at the bus stop near our houses. All of us were supposed to meet at the bus interchange at 3.00p.m . But i do not want to be late . I also bought an Old Chang Kee for myself at White Sands Shopping mall.
First we took our attendance.Then our temperatures. Our teachers gave out to us KFC for the show. At 4.00 we set off.
WE used the MRT train to board us to Raffle's place. I did not know what the other school uses.....
The show began and our school sat at the light blue sector. WE sat right up and got a good view .
The best parts of the show is when the RED LIONS and THE SINGAPORE ARMY takes action.But most of all is the fireworks part. Which is in the end.
The red lions began to be smaller than an ant but soon it began to be much much bigger. I wonder how the could almost float in the air.....
The army started as if there is terror in the country. The army brings up Tanks and other weaponry stuff.Although it fires using blanks, it shows a blast.
The fireworks is great because when the fireworks came up the rain came down!!!! We all got wet even though i was carrying a umbrella!! In the end we got to fell cool when watching the fireworks.
I got home happily . I drew a hot bath and then ate a nice hot steam chicken rice while watching the TV.
It was indeed one of the best Saturdays' I've ever had......
